The web crawler, now available to everyone, offers users a fast and efficient way to ingest content directly from publicly accessible websites and create powerful new search experiences for any case. ‘use without having to write code or access the underlying data store.

The native web crawler also offers improved performance and stability features, such as automatic crawling controls and content extraction tools, streamlining the implementation for users and optimizing the search for content in their application search engines.

Additionally, the customization capabilities of Elastic Workplace Search allow users to unify internal search experiences, meet infrastructure demands, and deliver relevant results in real time to meet the needs of their organizations. New features include:

  • Custom internal search branding to give users the ability to create a consistent appearance across all workplace productivity tools.

  • Improved synchronization configurability to ensure that IT resources meet infrastructure demands and deliver results in real time.

  • Configurable auto filter detection to automatically recognize natural language queries and provide relevant search results.

  • Improved search API, allowing customers to build custom search implementations in high traffic applications such as intranets and workflow applications.
