IQVIA, a provider of healthcare information technology and clinical research solutions, announced a new healthcare locator SDK which provides developers with access to a healthcare information database that includes details of 21.5 million healthcare providers and 2.5 million healthcare organizations worldwide .

The IQVIA database, which the company claims is the most comprehensive of its kind in the world, is updated daily and aims to provide patients with the most up-to-date information on healthcare providers in their region. The SDK that allows this data to be exposed is open source and has libraries available for Javascript, iOS and Android.
