LACHANCE, Jean Frederic
Passed away at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Friday, July 29, 2022. John LaChance of Port Hope, formerly of Bobcaygeon, in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Norma LaChance (née Mills). Beloved father of Kathryn, Peter (Nancy) and John “Ted” (Mary Anne). Dear grandfather of Geoffrey, Bradley, Christopher, Stephanie, Rachel, Gregory, Jessie and Billy. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends. Predeceased by his parents Archibald and Lillian, and his siblings Gladys, Clarice, Roland and William “Bill”. The cremation has taken place. Facilities entrusted to HENDREN-CHAPELLE DES MOINES FUNERAL HOMES. A family burial will take place at the Verulam cemetery on Thursday August 4 at 1:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Christ Church Anglican, by visiting www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705 738-3222.
