Linda Susan Blanchard obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Linda Susan Blanchard (née Poston) announces her sudden passing on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at the age of 68.
Linda will be fondly remembered by her children Michelle (Derrick Glende), Cindy, Jennifer, Robert and Michelle; grandchildren, Mitchell, Thomas, Spencer, Thea and Lexie, her fur baby Gibbs; his brother Ron; best friend Emily Dee and many family members and friends.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Peter Szasz and the staff at Kingston Health Sciences Center for their care and compassion.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no official service, but an informal celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston ON.
In lieu of flowers and to honor the many years Linda gave to the children she fostered and cared for while residing in Alberta, donations may be made in Linda’s name to Ronald McDonald House Canada .
