More merchandise has been revealed for Spider-Man: No Path Home, this time offering a detailed look at the “Black & Gold Suit” that Peter Parker will don in the highly anticipated trio.
Thanks to Hot Toys, we’re learning a bit more about what to expect from the movie, and yes, that includes the web-slinger using magic, likely thanks to his new partnership with Doctor Strange.
The official description doesn’t give us much to go on, but does note that the figure comes with “a selection of very detailed accessories including a gauntlet [and] mystical spider web effects. “ We see the first one on the Wall Robot’s wrist here, and it looks like it’s going to come in handy during the final battle, especially if its webs can trap villains from another world.
This is speculation on our part, of course, and we still know very little about the plot of Spider-Man: No Path Home. It certainly looks like some sort of high-tech costume, but those theories that it’s Peter’s usual costume backwards are getting harder and harder to dispute.
What could cause Spidey to do this remains to be seen, but it’s certainly a unique take on the character and one that should help him stand out from the “Variant†Peter Parkers that we hope to see.
Anyway, with this latest revelation and the Loki finale now on Disney +, we can’t help but think about the trailer for Spider-Man: No Path Home is imminent. You’ll have to keep checking here for updates, however!
